Kathak Courses

प्रारम्भिक (प्रथम खण्ड) /
Prarambhik (Part-1)


This foundational Kathak course introduces the basic elements of rhythm and movement. Students begin learning Tatkaar, simple hand gestures, and basic compositions, while developing an understanding of Taal, Laya, coordination, and essential Kathak terminology.

प्रारम्भिक (अंतिम खण्ड) /
Prarambhik (Final)


This level strengthens the fundamentals of Kathak through continued practice of Tatkaar, simple compositions, and introductory dance pieces. Students improve rhythm, coordination, and body control while building confidence in movement and basic theoretical concepts.

नृत्य भूषण (प्रथम खण्ड) /
Nritya Bhushan (Part-1)

This intermediate level expands the student’s understanding of Kathak through structured practical and theoretical learning. Training focuses on improving Tatkaar, basic compositions, hand gestures, and rhythm-based movement patterns.

नृत्य भूषण (द्वितीय खंड) /
Nritya Bhushan (Part-2)

At this stage students refine their technical skills and expressive abilities. Training includes advanced Tatkaar variations, compositions such as Kavits and Parans, along with deeper understanding of rhythm, coordination, and structured performance practice.

नृत्य भूषण (अंतिम खण्ड) /
Nritya Bhushan (Final)


This advanced intermediate level strengthens both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Students learn complex compositions, rhythmic variations, and expressive elements, while studying important aspects of Kathak tradition and performance.

नृत्य विशारद (प्रथम खंड) /
Nritya Visharad (Part-1)


This level introduces advanced study of Kathak technique, theory, and classical repertoire. Students explore gharanas, expressive storytelling, and complex rhythmic compositions while developing structured stage presentation and performance skills.

नृत्य विशारद (अंतिम खण्ड) /
Nritya Visharad (Final)

The final level focuses on mastery of advanced Kathak technique and expressive performance. Students refine Layakari, Abhinaya, and classical repertoire while preparing for professional-level performance and certification.

नृत्य भास्कर (प्रथम एवं अंतिम खंड) /
Nritya Bhaskar Part-1 & Final

This advanced course focuses on artistic refinement and professional-level Kathak training. Students deepen their mastery of complex Layakari, expressive Abhinaya, and advanced classical repertoire while preparing for high-level performances and certification.
